Site Browsing

As with most web servers, queerPhilosophy.com's web server automatically logs your IP address, operating system, browser type and features, and referred by information, reading information provided by your web browser. This information is aggregated and collectively analyzed to help maximize site performance and browser compatibility. This information will not be used to identity you.

Site Accounts

An account on queerPhilosophy.com is required to perform certain actions such as posting comments, posting to discussion forums, or suggesting a resource. A minimal amount of information is required to set up an account (username and email address). Unless you initiate correspondence with us, you will receive email only for account maintenance purposes (lost password, account activation, etc). Your presence on queerPhilosophy.com will remain hidden to those without accounts unless you contribute content to queerPhilosophy. (See “contributed content” below.)

Those with accounts on queerPhilosophy have the ability to view your user profile. Your user profile displays your username and the length of time your account has existed.
