Buddhism, Bornstein, and Gender

Bornstein suggests, “from a point of nothing, really being nothing, we have the potential to be anything, including any gender”. Nagarjuna, a Buddhist philosopher states similarly, “since all is empty, all is possible”. It is through the emptiness of no-identity, without-gender, that we are able to explore our true selves.
